Water Softener FAQs
FAQs
A water softener is a device that removes minerals like calcium and magnesium from hard water, replacing them with sodium ions to prevent scale buildup.
Regular maintenance includes checking the salt levels, cleaning the brine tank, and scheduling professional servicing every few years to ensure optimal performance.
Using a water softener can lead to softer skin and hair, longer-lasting appliances, reduced soap usage, and overall improved water quality in your home.
Aqua Series and Defender Series products are covered with warranties for the number of years determined by your chosen warranty level, whether one year, five years, ten years, including all parts, but excluding AquaTwist, AquaTwist II, and AquaOnDemand filters that need to be changed yearly. ALL resin tanks, filtration media, filter housing, valves, water lines, salt tank, parts, and protective sleeves are covered. This warranty cannot be transferred from its original owner and is not covered in the event of a natural disaster, acts of God, acts of terrorism, vandalism, or owner’s neglect.
